‘Happiest Season’
It’s rare that a holiday film comes into your life in adulthood and quickly becomes a staple but Happiest Season is that movie. Obvious appeals aside — we’re looking at you Kristen Stewart and cast — this movie will put you right into the mood to set up a Christmas tree, bake cookies, and argue with your siblings… the holiday essentials! The downside is that it features one of the most frustrating characters in a Christmas movie. Harper (Mackenzie Davis) is so awful that you will want to pull your hair out and jump through the screen to tussle. The bright side: Aubrey Plaza is a hot lesbian who is giving off major “Mr. Steal Yo’ Girl” energy. Jokes aside, this is one of the first queer holiday films and is genuinely a sweet watch for the family when you’re all together.
